Duochrome

October has been a busy month here at home. I’ve neglected FIME, gotten behind on my blog-reading, and haven’t had a chance to go hiking with my camera in weeks. I did find a few minutes to play with some old photos in Photoshop Elements, though. What do you think?

  2. Lovely! Especially the seaglass shot. I love the beetle (and flowers against the old fence) of course, naturally. Is it a Japanese beetle?

  4. Now, I must strive to be as good as you at handling Photoshop. You also made changed in you site header, didn’t you?

    • I did change the header, Paul. Thanks for noticing. I decided my category names were dull. I’m quite enjoying your mystery and will be back soon to catch up (and will write you back with feedback if you’d like). Lately, at night, when I sit down to read before bed, I keep nodding off before I get very far. Busy days are just tuckering me out, I suppose.

  6. Lovely! I keep telling myself I need to learn more about my camera and about photoshop, one thing at a time. Maybe I should start with this.

  7. I need to learn how to do this. Beetle one is my favourite, followed by the green bit of glass among the shells :)

    • Thanks, Munira! I think those Japanese beetles and one of the prettiest bugs around here. That’s my partner’s favorite. And I love the glass.
